JAS-ANZ Symbol Registered as a Trade Mark

JAS-ANZ, the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand, has received its certificate of registration of trade mark from IP Australia to confirm its ownership of the JAS-ANZ symbol.

Registration also led to a small change in the symbol. An ® (registered trade mark) symbol replaces the © (copyright) symbol at the bottom right hand corner of the mark.

What does this mean for clients of NCS International?

Whilst this is a small change, what this means for clients of NCS International is that all who currently display the logo in correlation with their relevant standard logo will be required to display the new symbol on any new stationery or promotional material.
